Tottenham remain in the market for attacking reinforcements and are expected to be active in the upcoming days.
Deals for Savinho and Omar Marmoush are expected to be confirmed this week after the Lilywhites agreed to sign the Manchester City duo after drawn-out negotiations.
Despite that, Tottenham remain in the market for another attacker and have been linked with Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo and Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson, among others.
Yesterday, reports from Italy claimed Mykhaylo Mudryk is another player they are keeping tabs on in what was a surprising development.
Now, however, Fabrizio Romano reports that the pacy attacker is wanted by Leeds United on loan.
Tottenham target Mykhaylo Mudryk wanted by Leeds United
Nicolo Schira reported yesterday that Mudryk could be Tottenham’s Plan B if they fail to sign Gakpo.
Schira wrote on X: “Excl. – Tottenham are set to submit a new official bid to Liverpool to try to close Cody Gakpo’s signing.
“Agreement in principle between the Dutch winger and THFC for a contract until 2031. Spurs’ Plan B is Mykhaylo Mudryk of Chelsea.”
And now, Romano says Leeds United have made a loan move for the Ukrainian as he aims to get regular game time under his belt.
“Leeds United are preparing a new loan bid for Mykhaylo Mudryk. Talks are still ongoing for the Ukrainian winger,” wrote Romano on X.
Chelsea are willing to sanction Mudryk’s departure, but it doesn’t look like Tottenham will make a move for him as they are set to confirm the arrivals of Savinho and Marmoush imminently, while talks are ongoing to bring Gakpo to North London.
