‘Confident’ – Fabrizio Romano confirms big Tottenham transfer update

Tottenham Hotspur remain in talks to sign attacking players as they aim to finish the summer transfer window with a flourish.

Savinho’s move to North London is expected to be confirmed soon after drawn-out negotiations with Manchester City finished in the Lilywhites’ favour.

However, Tottenham won’t stop there as they continue to target at least one more signing to bolster their ranks up front.

Omar Marmoush has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs, and Fabrizio Romano says Roberto De Zerbi’s side are confident a deal will happen.

Tottenham confident Omar Marmoush will sign

Marmoush has agreed personal terms with Tottenham, but Manchester City are waiting to see if all their attacking players return unscathed this week before sanctioning a deal for him.

Romano said on his YouTube channel: “Tottenham, calm and confident to get Omar Marmoush deal done by the start of next week.”

Judging by how they performed against Brentford yesterday, De Zerbi surely needs two more attackers to change the game in the final third.

And it appears as if they won’t have to wait too long to get what they want, as Savinho’s deal is on the verge of being confirmed, while talks for Marmoush are heading in a positive direction.

At least some transfer reprieve after that diabolic performance at the Gtech Community Stadium yesterday…
