Tottenham’s Premier League season didn’t start on the right note as they were beaten 3-0 by Brentford.
Overall, it was a terrible display from Roberto De Zerbi’s side as the Bees ran them ragged and deservedly went away with three points.
It wasn’t Tottenham’s best XI, but they had a strong squad despite injuries to key players.
One player who wasn’t part of the squad was Pape Matar Sarr, who has been linked with a transfer in recent weeks.
And now, reports from Turkey have confirmed that he has agreed personal terms with Galatasaray.
Pape Sarr agrees personal terms to leave Tottenham
Sarr was a key player for the club under Ange Postecoglou but wasn’t at his best last season, which was the case with pretty much every Tottenham player.
And now, Yagız Sabuncuoglu reports that the young midfielder has agreed personal terms to join Turkish giants Galatasaray.
He wrote on X: “Galatasaray has reached an agreement with Pape Sarr and Ismaila Sarr! Transfer fee negotiations are underway with their clubs!”
Tottenham are open to selling Sarr and De Zerbi admitted earlier this week that he could leave. If a strong offer comes in, don’t be surprised to see the midfielder seal a move to Turkey before the transfer deadline.
