Tottenham Hotspur have already spent in excess of £230m on six new additions during the summer transfer window.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side, however, have shown no signs of slowing down and are ready to splash the cash in terms of attacking reinforcements.
In recent weeks, various sources have confirmed that the Lilywhites are interested in signing both Cody Gakpo and Savinho.
And now, Fabrizio Romano says as many as three attacking players could join Tottenham between now and the end of the summer transfer window.
Fabrizio Romano’s latest Tottenham update
The Italian said on his YouTube channel, “The idea at Tottenham is to sign Savinho, Gakpo, plus a new central striker.”
Tottenham remain locked in talks with Manchester City and Liverpool for the aforementioned names and certain dominoes need to fall for those transfers to happen.
However, in terms of the striker, it remains to be seen who they target.
Yesterday, there were reports that Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson could emerge as a target late in the window.
He is also capable of playing out wide and comes with a decent amount of Premier League experience, so he could be a valuable addition for Tottenham to provide cover and competition for Dom Solanke and Richarlison.
