Tottenham’s pursuit of Savinho has knocked the stuffing out of everyone associated with the club.
The Lilywhites have wanted to sign him since last summer but have been frustrated in their efforts to do so.
In fact, earlier this summer, Savinho informed Manchester City that he wants to leave, which hasn’t helped Tottenham’s case as they have been unable to agree a fee with the Cityzens.
He has featured regularly in pre-season for City, but now there has been a big update on his situation.

Tottenham ITKs seem to believe a deal to bring Savinho to North London is edging closer.
So the timing of his absence due to an illness is suspicious, to say the least. Nevertheless, multiple sources have confirmed that the Brazilian is ill and won’t train with the club.

“Understand Savinho has been clear once again this week: he wants to leave and join Tottenham.”
Savinho’s intention is clear and Tottenham remain locked in talks with Manchester City.
With the transfer window heading towards a dramatic climax, the Lilywhites need to put the money on the table so that this drawn-out transfer saga can reach a positive conclusion.
