Tottenham Hotspur have been active in the transfer market under Roberto De Zerbi as they aim to finish as high as possible in the Premier League next season.
The Lilywhites narrowly avoided relegation on the final day of the 2025-26 campaign and have made it their mission to avoid slipping to such crushing lows.
The likes of Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson, Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke and Martin Dubravka have joined the club to add some much-needed quality to their squad.
In terms of outgoings, Luka Vuskovic’s surprise move to Brighton raised a lot of eyebrows as the Seagulls moved quickly to snap him up after losing Van Hecke.
And now, it appears as if Tottenham have lost another talented young player in the form of Tynan Thompson, who has officially joined Manchester United.

Thompson is a household name at N17 and scored 13 goals and recorded six assists across the age group sides last season.
He was also named in a handful of matchday squads, although he didn’t make his debut for Tottenham.
In an official statement, Manchester United confirmed the signing of the exciting winger, which came as a massive blow for De Zerbi and co.
Interestingly, he has also been confirmed as a first-team signing and not one for the academy, which is a sign that the Red Devils have mapped out a clear pathway for him.
Thompson’s transfer fee hasn’t been officially confirmed, but as seen above, a lot of sources say the deal is worth an initial £4m plus £4m in add-ons, with Tottenham also retaining a 20% sell-on clause and matching rights in any future transfer.
