Tottenham Open 2026/27 Premier League Season at Brentford

Tottenham Hotspur will open their 2026/27 Premier League season away to Brentford on Saturday 22 August, with the fixture selected for Sky Sports’ 5.30pm slot.

The schedule was confirmed on Friday 19 June as the Premier League released all 380 matches for the new campaign. Roberto De Zerbi’s side then begin their home programme against Newcastle United before travelling to Nottingham Forest and hosting Everton in the early weeks.

The headline dates for supporters are already clear. Tottenham’s first north London derby of the season is at home to Arsenal on Saturday 5 December, while the return fixture at the Emirates Stadium is scheduled for Friday 1 May.

De Zerbi handed a London start and a demanding finish

Spurs’ opening assignment carries extra edge because it is a London away day and a televised start to De Zerbi’s first full campaign in charge. Tottenham’s official fixture release also confirmed that the provisional calendar remains subject to change, particularly around broadcast selections and cup commitments.

The run-in looks especially sharp. After the away derby at Arsenal, Tottenham are due to face Chelsea at home, Coventry City away, Manchester United at home and Aston Villa away on the final day.

That gives Spurs a manageable platform in August but a clear warning for May: points banked early could matter. The full provisional list is available via Tottenham’s official fixture announcement.
