At a glance:
- Tottenham’s relegation probability increases despite win
- De Zerbi wins first game at Spurs
- West Ham also won vs Everton
Tottenham finally got three points on the board in 2026 as they secured a 1-0 win against Wolves at Molineux.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side didn’t perform particularly well on the night but did just about enough to get the job done.
That said, Tottenham are still in the relegation zone with four Premier League games left to play.
And with a tough run of fixtures coming up, their exact chances of getting relegated have now emerged.
Tottenham favourites to get relegated
The win against Wolves was certainly a good result for Tottenham.
However, results elsewhere meant Spurs will remain in the relegation zone for at least one more week.

Nottingham Forest got a thumping win against Sunderland earlier this week.
As for West Ham, their Premier League clash against Everton kicked off at the same time as Tottenham vs Wolves.
And while it looked like Everton would get at least a point, Callum Wilson scored in stoppage time to get a crucial win for the Hammers.
After recent results, Polymarket have assessed Tottenham’s chances of getting relegated.
Before the game, they had a 50% chance of going down. However, despite getting a win, that number has now shot up to 55%, with West Ham’s probability dropping from 48% to 39%.
Leeds United and Nottingham Forest are safe for now, but mathematically, they could also be dragged into the relegation dog fight if results don’t go their way.
Tottenham up against it
Tottenham have a tough run coming up and need at least two wins to secure their Premier League status.

Even that might not be enough, as they need teams around them to drop points, which wasn’t the case this weekend.
All Tottenham can control is their own destiny and they will look to continue their newfound momentum against Aston Villa next week.
At this point, it looks like it is between Spurs and West Ham, who arguably have a similar run of games between now and the end of the season.
Tottenham’s remaining fixtures: Aston Villa (A), Leeds United (H), Chelsea (A) and Everton (H)
West Ham’s remaining fixtures: Brentford (A), Arsenal (H), Newcastle United (A) and Leeds (H)
