Tottenham Player Ratings: Huddersfield (H)

Lucas Moura scored a hattrick to help Spurs beat relegated Huddersfield Town 4-0 at their new home and move above Chelsea to third in the Premier League table.

Victor Wanyama was surprisingly the other scorer for the home side, who were comfortable throughout the course of this game.

The Kenyan midfielder gave his team the lead in the 24th minute after he was well found by Fernando Llorente. The former then danced around the Huddersfield keeper to slot the ball home.

Moura doubled the lead two minutes later when he rifled a low shot past Ben Hamer, after being played in by Moussa Sissoko.

The Brazil international was on the scoresheet again three minutes from time, when he controlled a Christian Eriksen cross and volleyed the ball into the back of the net.

He eventually completed his hat-trick deep into stoppage time with a sumptuous finish, after Heung-min Son found him with a through ball.

All in all, a comfortable afternoon for Mauricio Pochettino’s men, who now have two big games in two different competitions against Manchester City coming up.

The manager would be glad that he rotated his side for this game and it paid off.
