Tottenham Player Ratings: Chelsea (A)

It wasn’t Spurs’ night at Stamford Bridge last night as their terrible away record to Chelsea continues. Having not lost to the Blues in their last two league meetings this was the perfect chance for Spurs to bounce back from their defeat to Burnley.

With both teams defending well in the first half it was all to play for after half time. Individual errors were at fault for Spurs’ performance and the best team on the night got all three points. The last two results are most certainly not ideal as Spurs are beginning to prepare for a North London Derby on Saturday.

Pochettino must have a word with his squad to try and fix their attitude and raise confidence as they enter the business end of the season. With the teams behind them gaining ground in the Premier League table, Spurs must find some fight to secure Champions League football for next season.
