Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has admitted he has felt more comfortable in a more defensive midfield role this season.
Skysports write that Sissoko has played a more prominent role with Spurs this term, with alot of his appearances in the last two campaigns coming from the substitutes bench.
The 29-year-old has made 18 Premier League starts to date this season and has provided two assists, although he is yet to find the back of the net.

He was somewhat of a scapegoat figure at White Hart Lane following his £30m move from Newcastle United in August 2016, as he was afforded only cameo roles and forced to play out wide.
As a wide forward where the Frenchman made his name with the Magpies, but he says he is happier playing through the middle.
He said:
I am very happy in that role. We train a lot in that position and was happy with it. I was feeling better and better in games. I got more confidence from the games. I feel it is my natural position, even though I was playing out wide for Newcastle. From when I started playing football, my position was as a central midfielder. It is where I feel more comfortable. For different reasons, managers put me on the side. I feel more confident in the middle, and I know exactly what I have to do. For me, it is more easy. I hope to improve and be a better player, but for now I am happy. I just need to keeping working on every training session.
Sissoko will be hoping to take part when Spurs travel to the North West to take on Burnley tomorrow lunchtime.
