Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane looks set to make his long-awaited return from injury at Burnley this weekend.

The Lancashire Telegraph report that Kane was pictured in full training this week ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash at Turf Moor.

The 25-year-old has been out of action since 13 January having suffered an ankle injury in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United at Wembley Stadium.

The forward was not expected to be ready until the start of the March at the earliest but is ahead of schedule and set to be named in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad at the weekend.

Spurs have been indifferent in his absence, winning all four top-flight matches and sweeping aside Borussia Dortmund convincingly in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie.

However, Pochettino’s men also lost to Crystal Palace in the fourth round of the FA Cup and bowed out of the Carabao Cup at the semi-final stage.

Kane has scored 14 Premier League goals this season, three more than Son Heung-min and eight ahead of Lucas Moura.
