Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Moussa Sissoko has escaped FA punishment for an apparent stamp on Newcastle United’s Kenedy, according to a report on Sky Sports.
Both players were involved in a tangle of legs with Sissoko then planting his boot onto the back of Kenedy’s leg. The incident was not punished by the referee during the match but was spotted using replays.

However, after reviewing the incident, the FA has decided not to punish the Frenchman for his actions and is expected to play in Spurs’ next Premier League fixture against Fulham.
Sissoko played the full 90 minutes on his return to St James’ Park and helped his side to a 1-2 victory.
Newcastle fans were left fuming with the midfielder after the incident and many believe that it was purely intentional from the former Toon.
After failing to sign any players in the summer transfer window, Sissoko is expected to play a huge role for Spurs.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino is an admirer of Sissoko and loves his work rate off the ball, which is why he could be a regular starter for the north London club this season.
