Harry Kane to sign six-year contract extension worth £90 million

Spurs striker Harry Kane is set to sign a six-year contract extension to keep him in North London until 2024.

The Daily Mail report the England captain has had his £100,000-a-week salary doubled, and with additional bonuses and incentives, the 24-year-old could earn up to £15 million-a-season.

Chairman Daniel Levy secured manager Mauricio Pochettino’s future at Tottenham last month with a five-year contract, and now the star of the show is seemingly sticking as well.

Preparing to move into their new stadium at the beginning of the 2018/19 season, the future of the club seems to be bright following the extensions of these contracts.

With reported interest from Real Madrid, it is likely that the contract will do little more than raise the eventual price Tottenham could command for Kane should he decide to leave, but all indications are the forward is happy with his present surroundings.
