Barcelona will consider a move for Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen if they are unable to secure a deal for Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann.
According to The Daily Mail, the Spanish giants look set to complete the signing of Griezmann from Atletico, but have lined up Eriksen as a back-up option in case the move for Griezmann falls through.
Eriksen has been a standout for Tottenham over the past few seasons and has proven himself as one of the best playmakers in the world.
The Danish international is set to travel to Russia with Denmark this summer for the World Cup, where he could attract interest from other clubs.
Tottenham will be hoping they can keep hold of Eriksen, with rumours also circulating over the future’s of Toby Alderweireld, Dele Alli and Harry Kane.
Aldeweireld looks set to join Manchester United after he rejected a new contract at Tottenham earlier this year.
