Real Madrid to step-up efforts to sign Harry Kane in the summer

Real Madrid are looking even more interested in Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane than previously before, after his incredible performance in Turin against Juventus, according to SI.

Prior to the match, Juventus had not conceded a goal in 826 minutes and only one in their last 16 games, and had won all seven games in 2018, until Spurs visited Turin.

Harry Kane as always was at the centre of all things going good Tottenham’s way. He had a big chance saved by Buffon before his well-worked goal to half the deficit.

That goal made Kane the second top goalscorer in the Champions League this season, behind only Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

But it could be that the talk of a move to Real Madrid could really be on the cards, now he has proven himself on multiple occasions against Europe’s finest.

Kane scored against Los Blancos in the group stage away at the Santiago Bernabeu and was vey impressive as Tottenham famously beat the Spanish giants 3-1.

With Tottenham looking favourites to go through to the quarter-finals, Kane is making a name for himself in Europe, which is what Real Madrid want.

Form has been very low for most of the Real Madrid team this season, but most of all for Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, and Zinedine Zidane sees Kane as a perfect replacement for the latter.

However, the 24-year-old, who this season is still proving how much of a goalscoring talent he is, has his focus on Spurs and his next priority after his club, is England this summer in the World Cup.
