The Daily Mail are reporting that the high profile football agent Jorge Mendes has this week held talks with a member of Dele Alli’s family regarding the possibility of him becoming the agents’ next client.
If Alli was to take this opportunity and get snatched up by one of the best agents in the game, he would be joining a host of names such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho who are also both clients of Mendes.
After recent reports of Alli being linked with a move to the Bernabeu, this development is very interesting considering Mendes’ close links with Madrid and his reputation as being the go to man for sealing big money moves amongst the best clubs in Europe.
Alli is still under contract with respected agent Rob Segal until half way through next year, however it is believed the Tottenham ace is known to have a desire to play for ‘Los Blancos’ at some point in his career, and Mendes would be the man to make it happen as he’s proven in the past.
