Four Premier League sides join Spurs in the race to sign Shaw
Tottenham have been joined by Everton, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea in the race to sign Luke Shaw.
The Telegraph reports that all five clubs are keeping a watchful eye with Jose Mourinho preparing to axe the defender in the new year.
United have recently extended the defender’s until 2019 through a clause in his contract.
Despite wanting to sell the defender, United believe by adding the extra year to his contract they can add some value to his price tag.
United paid Southampton £28 million for the defender and hope to recoup some of the back.
Fenerbahce are interested in taking the defender on loan in January, but Shaw is not keen on a temporary move to Turkey.
Mourinho was very critical of the player’s decision to move to Old Trafford when he was in charge at Stamford Bridge and the defender has failed to work his way into the manager’s plans at Manchester United.
