Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has insisted that he is not looking to make a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane in the near future.
Discussing the prospect of signing Kane for his club with a Spanish radio station, as cited by the Telegraph, Perez admitted that he hadn’t thought about moving for the England international yet, despite several reports.
Signing Harry Kane has not passed through my head. He is a great player and in addition he is young.
He has many years to progress, but we are delighted with [Karim] Benzema and with all of the team.
Kane has long been linked with a move to the Bernabeu following several excellent seasons with Spurs in recent years.

I didn’t ask Tottenham’s president [chairman, Daniel Levy] for the price because he would have told me that he [Kane] is worth €250million.
However, despite these rumours, it looks like Kane isn’t Real Madrid bound just yet, with Perez insisting that a bid has “not passed” through his head.
Kane is Spurs’ prized asset, and has enjoyed a superb start to the Premier League season. He leads the way as the league’s top goal scorer at this early stage, and has been in top form for England recently.
Mauricio Pochettino and Spurs fans alike are sure to be relieved to hear that one of the world’s biggest clubs are not yet considering a move for Kane.
