Tottenham keen on PSV winger Bergwijn

Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to sign PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn.

The Mirror reports that Spurs are among a trio of Premier League clubs chasing the PSV man’s signature following a positive start to the season out in Holland.

Bergwijn is a key player for PSV and has established himself as one of the club’s most promising players, so he won’t come cheaply if he is to be lured away from his homeland.

The youngster has represented Netherlands at most youth levels, and is an established international for his country’s Under-21 side.

Bergwijn, who is just 19-years of age, has been catching the eye this season and is looking set for big things, prompting the inevitable interest from clubs across Europe.

Mauricio Pochettino’s reputation for developing young players could be a major pull for Bergwijn, but he’ll also know that competition for places in Spurs’ attack is more fierce than ever at the moment.

West Ham and Bournemouth are both also keen, according to the Mirror.
