The Spanish striker was poised to join Chelsea but Spurs have pipped them to his signature, and have now strengthened their attacking depth.
Antonio Conte is a huge admirer of Llorente and was keen to link up with him again after the pair worked well together at Juventus but Tottenham beat him to his wanted man.
The striker enjoyed a positive first season in England with Swansea last term, prompting interest from big clubs in the Premier League.
It’s thought that Spurs have paid in the region of £12 million to land the Spain international, with the forward having put pen to paper on a three-year contract at Wembley.
The veteran Spanish striker will provide a useful backup option to Harry Kane and he should see a decent amount of game time as Spurs look to compete on four fronts this season. Bet Victor are offering odds on all four competitions if you’d like to place a bet on which, if any, you think Tottenham will win.
