Tottenham v Bournemouth – Match Preview

Spurs face Bournemouth at White Hart Lane today at 12:30, so here is everything you need to know ahead of this big game

Obviously, this is a must win game for Tottenham, as Spurs sit 7 points behind leaders Chelsea, and must win every game left to be able to reach the Blues.

Bournemouth sit 15th, after going three games without a win, and with the gap being significantly small between the lower half of the table, Bournemouth will need to grab a result in order to get closer to that 40 point mark and reach ‘safety’.

Spurs are in a great run of form at home, having won all of their last 11 games at home, and haven’t lost at home since last season, so the odds would be on them for this game.

However, with impressive victories against Liverpool and Everton earlier on in the season, along with draws against Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Man United, the Cherries are not to be underestimated, as the South Coast club have done incredibly well in the Premier League.

The last time these two sides met, Spurs were held to a 0-0 draw after domination from the away side, but Bournemouth did well to fend off Spurs’ talented attacking line.

Spurs will hope to finish the job against the Cherries, unlike the game on the South Coast, and reach ever closer to the top spot.
