Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, according to a report from BILD.
The 22-year-old Turkish international, who is also on the radar of Atletico Madrid, has been impressive for the Bundesliga side since joining from Hamburg and is rightly attracting interest from around Europe.
According to the report, Bayer want to keep hold of their star man but would begrudgingly accept bids of around €25million.

Spurs are clearly in the market for another forward player, with Marseille’s Georges-Kevin Nkoudou being heavily linked, but with that deal seemingly stalling, a move for Calhanoglu could be on the cards.
In fact, his representative, Bektas Demirtas was recently quoted, saying that Spurs are interested in taking his client.
He said:
It is true that Tottenham have registered their interest with me.
Calhanoglu would bring a huge goal threat to Spurs, not only from open play but also from set-pieces as he is one of the deadliest free-kick takers on the continent.
