Tottenham and England midfielder Dele Alli has revealed why he decided to join title contenders Spurs instead of Liverpool, as per the Daily Express.
Tottenham Signed Dele Alli in January 2015 from MK Dons and remained with the league one side until last summer when he linked up with his new teammates.

Alli has had a sensational first season with Tottenham scoring eight premier league goals as well as being nominated for the PFA young player of the year award and to top all that success he has also been capped by England, scoring against France.
Alli was being chased by Tottenham and Liverpool and has revealed that manager Mauricio Pochettino was the main reason for him joining the club, and giving his performances this season and Alli has fully justified his decision to join the club. Alli had this to say:
I have always had confidence in my ability, I knew I’d get a chance coming here, that’s one of the main reasons why I signed for Tottenham, We’ve got a great manager who does work a lot with youngsters. You can see that this season. We’ve got great youngsters in the team and everyone is looking to fight for their place. It has been a crazy year and I never expected it to happen this quickly.
Dele Alli has been joined by teammate Harry Kane in being nominated for PFA young player of the year award in what has been a fantastic season for Alli and his team.
