Tottenham’s search for a striker to help Harry Kane appears to be coming to an end, according to the Guardian.

Spurs are keen to add another striker to their ranks with only Kane the recognised front-man and they see Fulham’s Dembele as the ideal backup.
Dembele is out of contract in the summer and Spurs will spend some of the £12m they received from the Townsend deal on Dembele, Although Fulham are reluctant to sell as they battle to remain in the Championship, they now appear ready to cash in on the striker or risk losing him on a free transfer in the summer.

Fulham was hoping to strike a deal with Spurs that would see Dembele return to Fulham on loan for the season, much like the deal with MK Dons over Dele Alli last January but Pochettino wants Dembele to go straight into his match-day squad.
It remains to be seen if Spurs will dip back into the market after the arrival of Dembele, Although West Brom striker Saido Berahino continues to be linked with the club.
