Tottenham are lining up moves for in-form Leicester duo N’golo Kanté and Jamie Vardy, according to the Sunday People.
The pair have been integral to Leicester’s march to the top of the league this season and as a result have attracted many suitors, especially in the midst of the current transfer window.
It is no secret that Spurs have been on the lookout for a new striker and the high intensity, tenacious style of Vardy would suit Mauricio Pochettino’s pressing system, perfectly.

However, Vardy has just turned 29 and following his impressive form, would likely come at a huge price, meaning he would not fit into Spurs’ transfer policy of buying young and cheap.
Nevertheless, the England international would almost guarantee goals, having already scored 16 in the current campaign and could be deployed in a supporting role to Harry Kane which would be an enticing proposition for Pochettino.
Like Vardy, Kanté has also been in brilliant form following a £5.5 million move from Ligue 1 side Caen and at 24 would be a much more attractive option than his older teammate.
The Frenchman has largely been deployed in a holding midfield role for the Foxes this season, however his stamina allows him to get up and down the pitch in a way which few others can and so in many ways he is a traditional box-to-box midfielder.
If Kanté were to move south to North London, he would be in direct competition with the impressive Eric Dier, but with no other players capable of covering the role, Pochettino may wish to strengthen this department, in which case the addition of Kanté would be a very smart one indeed.
