A Spurs comeback at Selhurst Park saw them extend the gap over Manchester United in fifth place to five points after the later lost to Southampton.

After a Jan Vertonghen own goal had put the hosts in front against the run of play, Spurs fought back and equalized when Harry Kane scored his first goal from open play in just under a month.

Dele Alli then scored one of the goals of the season to put Spurs ahead, before Nacer Chadli sealed the victory with a 30-yard effort which curled into the Crystal Palace goal.
