Tottenham Hotspurs are the new favourites to sign Fulham’s Moussa Dembele according to a report from the London Evening Standard.
Various Premier League clubs including Manchester United and Crystal Palace have been chasing the 19-year-old striker for the last few months but it is the North London club who look most likely to sign him.
According to the Evening Standard, preliminary discussions have begun between Tottenham and Fulham which means they are the most likely team to sign the Frenchman.
Dembele has had a breakout year this season, being a star for Fulham despite their current meagre league position. This season, the striker has made 26 appearances, scoring 11 goals, rivaling the Cottagers big money signing Ross McCormack.
However his young age and the fact Fulham aren’t doing well has meant Premier League clubs have come sniffing around him and it is looking increasingly likely he will jump up a league this January.
