A double from Harry Kane, along with goals from Kyle Walker and Toby Alderweireld ensured that Tottenham comprehensively beat a West Ham side that has impressed so far this season.
The game started off with both sides struggling to create clear cut chances, as both teams looked to carry on their impressive recent form. However, Tottenham eventually broke the deadlock when in-form Harry Kane fired in from inside the penalty area, after Dele Alli’s deflected effort fell at his feet.
It wouldn’t be long before Spurs doubled their lead, as Christian Eriksen’s corner found the head of Toby Alderweireld who directed the ball past Adrian who was left stranded in the West Ham goal.

After going into half-time with a 2-0 lead, Harry Kane quickly extended Tottenham’s lead after firing in past Adrian from the edge of the penalty area.
With Tottenham 3-0 up, the game on occasion threatened to boil over as both Dele Alli and Kyle Walker were involved in altercations with Mark Noble and Diafra Sakho in which all four players were booked. Alli’s yellow card means he misses next Sunday’s match with Chelsea.
As the game entered the final 10 minutes, Kyle Walker added a fourth goal as he curled in a superb effort past Adrian with the outside of his boot. However, he would turn from hero to villain in a matter of minutes as his awful attempted clearance led to Lanzini firing in a consolation effort for the Hammers.
The result means that Spurs have matched their record of 12 league games unbeaten as they continue to hunt down the top four places.
