Former Southampton and England star Matt Le Tissier has claimed that there is a problem with an aspect of Pochettino’s management style.
His main strength is thought to be his man management style that tends to mean that players like him and therefore, players like playing for his side.
The players at Southampton all got on really well with him.
That’s the style he chooses – to get quite close to his players.
Tottenham have been in fine form of late and are being tipped by many to heavily contend for a Champions League spot in the top-four come the end of the season. The return to form of Harry Kane has been a major factor of their form and probably outlines Pochettino’s man management well, showing he can help players recover form.

Pochettino backed Kane throughout his dry spell and is now reaping the rewards from it. However, Le Tissier has said that he struggles to make the tough decisions and that when Tottenham hit a bad patch of form, he will struggle to get them out of it.
When things are going well that’s a great thing to do, but when things are going not so well and he has to make some difficult decisions with players who aren’t playing well – that makes his job a lot more difficult.
