Watford midfielder Etienne Capoue has said that he is enjoying his football more at the Hornets than with his former club, Tottenham.
Speaking to Sky Sports, he said that he has more confidence with the newly-promoted side than during his two-year spell in North-London.
I love my job and I do everything on the pitch. I have the confidence of the coach and the players, so I try to enjoy it on the pitch. It was two difficult years for me, but now I try to improve my qualities on the pitch.
Capoue has also praised English striker Jamie Vardy, who is currently the league’s top goalscorer, and has scored in his last eight league games.
He is a very good striker and he showed that last year. Leicester will be a very good game and very tough. Their offensive players are so good.
Whilst with Tottenham, Capoue only made 35 appearances and scored only twice with an equal number of assists, a poor record for a player with a £9m price tag.
Capoue has featured in every game for Watford so far this season, missing only 14 minutes of football this term. However, he is yet to get his first goal for the London club.
The 27-year-old has featured seven times for his national side, France. He hasn’t received for over two years, coinciding with his move to England.
