Tottenham extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League to eight games, which means they are the only team to have not lost in the league since the opening day after drawing 0-0 with Liverpool in Jurgen Klopp’s first game.

It was a game that never really got going, as Liverpool pressed Spurs excellently in the opening stages. But both teams did have good chances to go ahead with Kane missing two good opportunities to put Spurs ahead, whilst Origi hit the bar for Liverpool in the first-half.

They was also some concerning news for Pochettino after Chadli had to be substituted in the opening 45 minutes after picking up an injury, however it also meant that Clinton was able to get more Premier League minutes under his belt as he continues to adapt to his new league.
