Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-min Son will definitely miss Saturday’s huge clash against Liverpool and could endure a further few weeks out with a foot injury.
The South Korean was substituted in the demolition of Manchester City three weeks ago with the problem, with the club unable to put a timescale on his return to first team action.

However according to FIFA, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino had hoped Son to recover over the international break, but his recovery has been much slower than anticipated.
Pochettino, crowned the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for September, said: “His injury was in his foot but it’s okay, we’re happy with him. Maybe in a few weeks he will be back.
“I think he’s nearly ready to come back, to start training with the group, but you know every injury is different and we need to assess it day by day.”
Signed for around £22 million back in August, Son has taken to life at White Hart Lane extremely quickly with three goals in his first three appearances, with his absence a big blow for Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off against The Reds, in what will be Jurgen Klopp’s first game in charge of Liverpool.
