The BBC has released the findings of its latest price of football study, in which it compiles data from football clubs up and down the country on the cost of tickets, shirts and everything else you could spend money on following your favourite team.
At Read Tottenham, we have decided to take a look at how much it costs to supports the Lilywhites compared to the rest of the league:

TICKETS:
Cheapest season ticket: £765- The second most expensive in the league, only behind Arsenal’s cheapest season ticket which costs £1014.
Most expensive season ticket: £1895- The second most expensive in the league again, only behind Arsenal’s most expensive season ticket which costs £2013.
Cheapest matchday ticket: £32- Joint 8th most expensive in the league alongside Bournemouth. Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City, Southampton and Watford cheapest matchday tickets are all more expensive.
Most expensive matchday ticket: £81- 4th most expensive in the league. The only club to offer more expensive matchday tickets are Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham United.
Cheapest away ticket: £32- Joint 8th most expensive in the league along with Crystal Palace. Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City and Southampton’s cheapest away ticket are all more expensive.
Most expensive away ticket: £54- 5th most expensive in the league, behind Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and West Ham United.

MATCHDAY:
Programme cost: £3.50- Costs the same as 12 other clubs Premier League programmes, with Southampton leading the way with their programme costing £4.00.
Cost of a pie: £3.50- The same price as 4 other Premier League clubs. Only 4 Premier League clubs charge more.
Cost of tea: £2.20- The same price as 4 other Premier League clubs. 6 Premier League clubs charge more.
FOOTBALL SHIRTS:
Adult shirt: £55- Same price as Arsenal and Manchester City, only Manchester United charge more.
Junior shirt: £42- 3 Premier League clubs charge more (Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United) whilst Aston Villa charge the same.
