Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has threatened to drop any of his Spurs stars who complain that they have been unsettled by his controversial book recently, the Express report.
The book, named Brave New World, is an honest account which shows Pochettino’s life and a reflection on their last season. The book details the secrets of Tottenham’s success, and also includes disagreements with key players such as Eric Dier during the previous campaign.
When asked about Spurs’ recent struggles and if the book has had any part to play in the sides downward spiral, Pochettino said:
If the book is the problem, it’s easy – on the bench or out of the list.
Spurs have picked up just one point from their previous three Premier League games and have only managed one win in their last five since he released his book, compare that to eight wins from 11 prior to the publication.
Tottenham will be looking to get back to winning ways this weekend, when they take on Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday.
