Tottenham Hotspur will assess Heung-Min Son’s foot injury in a hope that the former Bayer Leverkusen winger will be fit enough to play against Liverpool next week, according to Sky Sports.
Since signing from the Bundesliga club in the summer, Son has netted three goals but picked up his injury against Manchester City at the end of September and hasn’t featured for Mauricio Pochetinno since.
The South Korean international hasn’t trained this week and has been relaxing whilst the majority of his team-mates are out on international duty. Son didn’t travel with the South Korean squad to play Kuwait on Thursday.

Talking to Sky Sports News, Spurs boss Pochetinno said that the winger will need assessing ‘day-by-day.’
We hope it’s not a big issue but he has a problem in his foot and we need to assess it day-by-day, but maybe he will be out for a few weeks.
Sky are also reported to believe that Son has adapted to life in England away from football well. Head coach Pochettino and the rest of the Spurs staff are impressed with the winger.
