Tottenham were left disappointed after leaving Swansea with just a point despite two Christian Eriksen goals.
It was Spurs who were first to concede in Wales, as Andre Ayew put Swansea ahead early in the first half before the first of Eriksen’s goals brought Spurs level in an exhilarating opening 30 minutes.

However, the scoreline would not remain level for long, as Harry Kane who finally broke his Premier League barren run last weekend, scored again but this time for the opposition. When attempting to clear Jonjo Shelvey’s corner, he didn’t make a clean connection with the ball and sliced it into his net with his goalkeeper left helpless. It’s fair to say that sometimes the luck is really against you.
All was not lost for Tottenham however, Eriksen’s free-kick in the 65th minute to make sure the journey home for the North London faithful was not as bad as it could have been.

Pochettino, speaking to the BBC after the game said:“He [Eriksen] is a very important player for us and if you give him chances to shoot he can have an impact on the game.”
“He is one of the best at dead-ball situations, it is hard to say he is the best but he is one of the best.”
“We have maybe dropped two points. We are disappointed with the result but not the performance or effort.
“We did not win the game because of an own goal but Harry does not need to worry about it. He does a lot for the team.”
Were you happy with the result? Or should Tottenham have done better considering the respective form of the two teams?
