Tottenham to share Stadium:MK

Tottenham are due to leave White Hart lane in the 2017-18 season and where they will go in that season has been open to speculation but according to the daily mail Spurs look set to be housed by MK Dons.

The two clubs have been in talks and are progressing well as they try to reach an agreement for the one season ground share, it is thought that both clubs are relatively relaxed about the deal and that it could all be completed with ease.

Spurs are keen to remain in London and were rumoured to be in talks over sharing Wembley with Chelsea, but with Chelsea’s unwillingness to strike a deal as Chelsea want a 3-year tenancy, and with the heavy schedule Wembley has with international commitments led Spurs to look elsewhere.

MK Dons hope to convince Spurs to share their 31,000 seater stadium in the coming weeks by showcase their ability to host, with the Rugby world cup game between France and Canada to take place at Stadium:MK.
