Arsenal will need to get a victory against Spurs as they hope to avoid another defeat after losing in the Champions League last week and then followed by their derby day horror against Chelsea last Saturday which saw Gabriel and Cazorla dismissed and resulted in a 2-0 defeat.

Tottenham’s injury list is starting to get smaller but Nabil Bentaleb is still on the treatment table, Mason and Dembele are also possible doubts which means Dele Alli could keep his place alongside Eric Dier. It has also been revealed that Jan Vertonghen may also be rested by Mauricio Pochettino, who may also decide to rotate the side a little which means Danny Rose and Trippier may also be given a starting place. Christian Eriksen is also in line to start after his impressive display against Palace.

Arsenal have a growing injury list with Welbeck, Rosicky and Wilshire all out injured. Coquelin and Mertesacker are doubts for the game but are expected to sit out, to add to the injury woe’s they also have Gabriel and Cazorla suspended after their red cards last weekend.

Spurs will hope to add to their rivals woe’s by making it three stright defeats for the Gunners, Tottenham’s defence is also looking strong at the moment only conceading one in their last four games. Arsenal will hope to buck the trend as they have only won one of the last five derbies at White Hart Lane.
