The Capital One Cup threw up one heck of a third round tie, as Tottenham Hotspur play host to Arsenal in the first North London derby of the season.
With Spurs unbeaten since going down to Manchester United on the first day of the season, Arsenal are smarting after their defeat to the hands of fellow London rivals Chelsea and in particular, the underhand tactics of Diego Costa.
This fixture has in recent times favoured Spurs, with the club losing to Arsenal on just two occasions at White Hart Lane in the last eight years, but there are no guarantees here as both teams will view the League Cup as a realistic chance to win silverware this season.
