MATCH PREVIEW: Spurs V Qarabag

Tottenham are all set to return to Europa League action on Thursday as the face Qarabag Futbol Klubu at White Hart lane

After Sunday’s win over Sunderland, Tottenham will have plenty of confidence but should also not underestimate Qarabag of Azerbaijan who won their Premier league last season and have previous experience of the Europa League having played 44 games in the Europa League and formerly UEFA Cup winning 18 games and therefore they are not a side for Spurs to take lightly.

However, Spurs have only lost one of the last six games including that win over Sunderland last weekend. Tottenham will be without the injured Ryan Mason, who was injured scoring the winning goal over Sunderland as he injured his knee and there is no date set for his return.

Tottenham will also be without Nabil Bentaleb who is out with an ankle injury and he also has no date set for his return, Good news for Spurs fans is Eriksen (Knee), Dembele (ankle) and Clinton N’Jie (muscular) are classed as doubtful but would expect to see them on the bench and could be the perfect game to get some match fitness for the players. Erik Lamela and Alex Pritchard are also expected to start having played a minimal amount so far this season. Andros Townsend is also in line for his start of the season after making his return against Sunderland as a substitute last weekend as he battles back to full match fitness.
