Tottenham Hotspur have been drawn against Arsenal in the Third Round of the Capital One Cup.
The two sides will meet at White Hart Lane in the week commencing September 21 after being paired together in Tuesday night’s draw.
Elsewhere in the draw, current holders Chelsea will travel to Walsall, whilst Premier League leaders Manchester City go to Sunderland.
Manchester United will host Championship leaders Ipswich Town, and League Two Carlisle will travel to Liverpool.
There were also be another fierce derby as Birmingham travel to Aston Villa, but the North London derby remains the stand-out tie.
Arsene Wenger’s side made the short trip across North London at this stage of the competition five years ago and were victorious after extra time.
Goals from Robbie Keane and Henri Lansbury could not settle the two after ninety minute, but two penalties from Samir Nasri and another from Andrei Arshavin sent The Gunners through.
