Tottenham’s pre-season preparations continue on Saturday afternoon as a young side make the short trip to League Two side Stevenage.
The team – led by Ugo Ehigou – will mainly consist of U21 and academy players that featured in last weekend’s French National Youth Tournament in Ploufragan.
18-year-old Shayon Harrison is likely to feature after scoring a hat-trick in the side’s only win of the competition, along with Player of the Tournament Ismail Azzaoui.
Stevenage will be hoping to bounce back to League One at the second attempt this coming season after suffering relegation at the end of the 2013/14 season.
Now led by Teddy Sheringham, the Broadhill Way side finished sixth in the league last year, but lost in the Play-Off Semi-Finals to eventual winners Southend United.
After suffering defeats to Nottingham Forest and Millwall earlier in pre-season, the former Spurs player will be hoping for a better result this time around ahead of next weekend’s curtain-raiser against Notts County.
Sheringham is not the sole former Spurs representative at the club, with ex-academy player Dean Parrett a key cog in the side’s midfield.
