Tottenham have been linked with Juventus striker Fernando Llorente and are reportedly willing to offer the Spaniard a remunerative offer to persuade the striker to move to White Hart Lane.
Llorente has found his future in some doubt after the recent signings of Pablo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic, and Spurs are still in need of a another striker to partner club hero Harry Kane. After Kane’s impressive season which saw the young England international score 31 goals in 51 games in all competitions Spurs still need another first team quality striker to either play with Kane or provide cover.
Italian outlet Tuttosport are claiming that Tottenham are preparing a bid of around £11m for Llorente. The striker would arrive at White Hart Lane with plenty of experience, playing for Juventus and Athletic Bilbao. Throughout his career Llorente has made 456 appearances and has scored 157 goals.
Llorente would bring a physical presence to the Spurs attack and also he would be able to hold up the ball for current Spurs favourites Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen.
