Tottenham Hotspur will hope to continue their rare winning momentum when they face Leeds United in the Premier League on Monday, May 11.
Spurs have managed to end their winless run in the Premier League and show consistent improvement since Roberto De Zerbi’s appointment. They lost against Sunderland, drew against Brighton, and then beat Wolves and Aston Villa under the Italian.
On Monday, they will host Leeds United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Leeds were also part of the relegation battle until just a few weeks ago.
However, the newly promoted side is unbeaten in their last six league games and now comfortably sit 14th in the standings, seven points above the drop zone.
They could still potentially play a big part in the relegation battle as they will face Spurs on Monday and West Ham on the final day. Tottenham are currently just one point above the Hammers, who are in the relegation zone.
Notably, Spurs have just nine wins in 35 Premier League games this season, and one of them came against Leeds. They beat Daniel Farke’s side 2-1 at Elland Road in October. In fact, Tottenham have won in their last five meetings against the Peacocks.
Tottenham remain without the likes of Cristian Romero, Dejan Kulusevski, and Mohammed Kudus, among others.
Meanwhile, Leeds will be without some key players like Noah Okafor and Gabriel Gudmundsson, while Pascal Struijk is a doubt for the game.

A win on Monday could put Spurs within touching distance of Premier League safety. After Leeds, they will face Chelsea away and Everton at home. Meanwhile, West Ham have Arsenal at home, Newcastle United away, and Leeds at home as their remaining three games.
