- Yohanna currently playing in Sweden
Zadok Yohanna might be an unknown entity, but it goes to show that Tottenham are set to continue their youth recruitment strategy.
In recent years, they’ve had some luck in this regard with Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray and Luka Vuskovic, among others.
Roberto De Zerbi has been tasked with breathing new life into Tottenham and will look to fine-tune their squad in the summer.
And if reports from Sweden are to be believed, they’ve been impressed with Yohanna.
Tottenham scout Zadok Yohanna
The North London outfit have two Swedish players in their squad in Dejan Kulusevski and Bergvall. In fact, they signed the latter directly from his home country and it’s safe to say he has fared quite well at the club.

Yohanna is a Nigerian winger but is currently plying his trade in Sweden with AIK.
Expressen report that Tottenham sent scouts to watch the talented winger, who played the full 90 minutes for AIK vs Degerfors IF in the 2-1 defeat.
After the game, they caught up with the attacker and asked him directly about speculation linking him with a move to Tottenham as the club’s scouts were in attendance to watch him in action.
Yohanna responded: “No, I don’t know. I didn’t know there were scouts here.
“I’m just focusing on my game. My focus is completely on AIK.”
The teenager was then asked about his future ambitions, and he responded: “Of course I have a dream.”
Yohanna dubbed an ‘exceptional’ player
Starting on the right flank, the Nigerian didn’t secure a goal or an assist and was unable to prevent his team from losing.
However, Yohanna showed his class on the ball and was a constant thorn in the flesh of the opposition defenders.

After the game, Degerfors manager Henok Goitom referred to him as an exceptional ‘talent,’ adding that he asked his defenders to err on the side of caution with him.
Goitomn said: “Yohanna is an exceptional player. I love watching him play. He plays like he plays on the street.
“We told Samba [Diatara] that he is good. And to [Elias] Barsoum that we have to play two against one there.”
Tottenham need young players to bring fresh blood to their ranks. They are also in desperate need of a winger to take players on and relieve the pressure.
Whether that is Yohanna or someone else remains to be seen. However, this is certainly a position that will need addressing in the summer transfer window.
