At a glance:
- Andy Robertson has verbal agreement with Tottenham
- North London side also want Curtis Jones
- Both moves depend on Premier League safety
Tottenham are now being linked with a second Liverpool player, with their interest in Andy Robertson well-documented.
The North London outfit are set for an important summer regardless of whether they avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Robertson has a verbal agreement to join Tottenham, provided they secure safety.
And now, if reports are to be believed, they could also swoop for Curtis Jones.
Jones unhappy at Liverpool
The young Scouser has been at Liverpool since the age of nine and has steadily risen through the ranks to become a first-team regular.

However, he has only started 13 Premier League games this season and isn’t one of Arne Slot’s go-to options in the centre of the park.
TalkSPORT report that Tottenham could swoop for Jones, who was also the subject of interest from Inter Milan in the January transfer window.
The Liverpool midfielder has just over a year left on his contract and is believed to be ‘frustrated’ due to his lack of consistent starts this season.
The report also states that any deal for Jones will depend on whether Tottenham avoid relegation, as is the case with Robertson.
Jones makes sense for Tottenham
Capable of playing in multiple midfield positions, Jones could be an intriguing option for De Zerbi.

Additionally, his status as a homegrown player will allow Tottenham to plan the squad a lot better, while his contract situation would also allow them to sign him below his market value.
He has a wealth of experience for a player of his age and has won multiple Premier League titles with Liverpool, along with a handful of domestic cups.
However, Tottenham first need to secure their Premier League status. Failing to do so, they will stand no chance of signing Robertson, Jones, or any high-profile name from the so-called big six.
They also need to move on a few midfielders as they are stacked in this area of the pitch. Joao Palhinha is set to return to Bayern Munich after his loan deal expires, while Pape Sarr has been linked with a move to Fenerbahce.
After sorting out their outgoings, it would make sense to press ahead with a move for Jones. Considering his age, profile, homegrown status and potential price tag, this is a move a large portion of the Tottenham fan base can get on board with.
