Tottenham Hotspur can’t seem to do anything right under Igor Tudor as their alarming nosedive reached a new low in Spain.
Antonin Kinsky grabbed all the headlines with two high-profile errors, but the fact of the matter is that Tottenham were simply not in the game as Atletico Madrid brushed them aside 5-2 in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash.
Tudor has managed four games for Tottenham, and to put it bluntly, his record is rather horrifying. They’ve lost every game in that period, scoring just four times and conceding 14 in the process.
There have been calls to sack the manager from fans and pundits alike as they prepare to face Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
However, Tottenham have appeared to confirm that the Croatian will still be in charge of the club for their trip to Anfield.
Tudor to do Tottenham press conference tomorrow
After another sobering night in Spain, it wouldn’t have come as a massive surprise if Tottenham decided to part ways with Tudor.
He replaced Thomas Frank as the club’s interim boss to steady the ship and deliver results immediately, but what’s happened since his arrival has been a far cry from those expectations.
Tottenham have undoubtedly got worse under the Croatian, who is running out of time to prove his worth and stop the rot at the club.
And now, the North London side have confirmed that Tudor will do his pre-match press conference tomorrow at 13:30 BST, which is a sign that he will surely be in charge of the game against Liverpool at the very least.
Liverpool have had their own problems this season, but at this point in time, one would find it hard to mention a team in England that can’t give Tottenham a run for their money.
Tottenham squad have no faith in Tudor
This is rather obvious from how things have transpired in recent weeks, but a report from The Telegraph confirms that the Tottenham players have absolutely no faith in Tudor’s ability to turn things around at the club.
After Kinsky’s horror show, he didn’t acknowledge the goalkeeper as he walked straight down the tunnel after arguably the toughest moment of his career.

Even otherwise, the same report states that he has failed to bond with his players, with Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange now faced with another important managerial decision after just making one a month ago.
All in all, it looks incredibly grim for Tottenham as a dark, relegation-shaped cloud starts to loom large at N17.
