“Good. He can’t leave” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are thrilled that Danny Rose will remain at the club – after his transfer deadline day move to Watford collapsed.
Rose arrived at Watford’s training ground to undertake a medical and discuss personal terms – but the Hornets had their bid rejected.
The 29-year-old had spoken of moving away from Tottenham as he was not part of their long-term plans – and though he was linked with numerous clubs a move never materialised, and he will remain with Spurs.
This has delighted a lot of Spurs fans who did not want to lose Rose.
