“More misery,” “Blessing in disguise” – A lot of Tottenham Hotspur fans are split on if Dele Alli’s injury is a benefit or a hindrance to their team.

Alli was not at his best last year – and often let games pass him by, but he has undoubted talent, and at only 23 he still has a long career ahead of him.

The former MK Dons man, however, will miss Spurs’ opening game against Aston Villa on Saturday – with a hamstring injury.

This news has caused sparked a mixed reaction from many Tottenham fans.

Some fans think that Alli’s injury is good news because of how poorly he played last year – and they are right he was not at his best last season.

While others believe he is an integral part of the team and they want him back as quickly as possible – Alli is still a valuable player for Tottenham.
